Framing the future of McAuley Community School is our Strategic Plan 2022-24, which brings to life our shared vision for educational excellence within an innovative learning environment. With our sights set firmly on the future, we have mapped specific commitments and outcomes that align with the following strategic priorities:

  • Catholic Identity and Faith Formation
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Community and Wellbeing
  • Stewardship and Accountability

At the heart of our plan is the holistic development of our learners and our commitment to ensuring McAuley Community School continues to be a place to thrive. Our strategic plan will ensure that we aspire to be at the forefront of educational research, that we are innovative in our thinking, that our educators are experts in their field and that our school facilities continue to provide optimal learning experiences.

This is an exciting time of growth and development for McAuley Community School, and we look forward to sharing this journey with our community.

Living Learning Leading Framework

Thriving People, Capable Learners, Leaders for the World God Desires

CESA’s Living Learning Leading Framework gives us a foundation for understanding what we do in Catholic Education – who we are, what we value and how we partner with our families to ensure learners thrive.

At the heart of our framework is our commitment to our learners and our understanding of all people – we see them as thriving people, capable learners, and leaders for the world God desires.

Annual Performance Reporting

Each year, the Director of Catholic Education is required to report to the Australian Government Minister for Education, on the compliance of all Catholic schools in South Australia in line with the regulations of the Australian Education Act 2013.

This process is supported at a school level through the development of our Annual Performance Report. This report monitors and ensures our accountability towards the commitments and outcomes within our Strategic Plan and outlines the school’s performance and position in the following key areas:

  • contextual information about the school including the characteristics of learners at the school;
  • learner results in NAPLAN;
  • parent, learner and educator satisfaction with the school;
  • school income broken down by funding source;
  • commentary on the school’s achievements and progress against the previous year’s School Improvement Plan;
  • learner reports; and
  • educator performance and development.
