Our uniform policy was designed in consultation with families in our community and we are pleased to announce that from Term 4 2024 there will be some adjustments to the uniform. Further information will be communicated to families on our Audiri school app and on this website page when it is available though there will be a three-year phase in period so families can continue to purchase what they need.
At the May School Board meeting, it was decided that three colours of shoes will now be permitted: white, navy or black. One of these three colours must be the predominant colour of the shoe.
School uniforms are ordered online with the option for home delivery or complimentary delivery to the Front Office at McAuley Community School.

The school socks ($8.50 a pair) are to be purchased through the online uniform store and are a cushioned foot sport sock in navy blue with a sky-blue trim at the top. These are the only socks that are permitted to be worn at school.
There is a requirement to wear predominantly white, blue or black sport shoes with a synthetic or leather upper. No canvas please.
The wide brim bucket hat ($18), with adjustable toggle, offers maximum sun protection.
Navy or yellow are the colours of choice for hair elastics, ribbons, scrunchies, bows or headbands. Hair is to be neat and away from the face. Shoulder length hair is to be tied back please.
Did you know your child’s new school backpack bag ($56) is made from 100% recycled PET bottles? 21 x 500ml bottles in fact. Perm-A-Pleat Schoolwear have introduced the new eco-textile, Duralon.
With strength and durability in mind, it also delivers in so many other areas: free from any harmful contaminants like PVC, 73% stronger than nylon, lightweight, water resistant and breathable which reduces the effects of moisture and odour on the inside of the bag.

You can choose home delivery or school pick-up for your child's school uniform.
Home delivery costs $12 flat rate and delivery time is dependent on the quantity of uniform ordered. Orders are shipped via air or road and can be expected within 1-5 days of placing your order.
School pick-up is available as an ongoing complimentary service. Please order by Sunday lunchtime for delivery to the school office one week later. Teresa Ragless will email you once your order has arrived at school and is ready for collection.

If you order the wrong size, you can send the product/s back with the Product Exchange Form to Perm-A-Pleat and they will post to you free of charge your exchange order. Unfortunately, they are not able to offer a credit on your purchase. Please carefully review the below terms and conditions for Product Exchange.
1. Authority to exchange the product/s is given by Perm-A-Pleat. Items received without a Product Exchange Form will not be accepted.
2. The item is to be returned to Perm-A-Pleat within 14 days of the receipt of the goods (at purchaser’s expense).
3. The product/s must be in the same condition as at the time of purchase. Tags and labelling must be attached to the product and in the same condition it was purchased in (not worn, unwashed, in its original packaging and in new, saleable condition). Products that are not in a saleable condition will not be accepted for exchange.
4. The product/s are to be returned with the completed form and with proof of purchase.
